Texas Private School Equitable Services Support System
Take a look at the Texas Private School Equitable Services Support System! Attend this session to learn more about the roles of the Ombudsman, the Texas Private School Equitable Services Workgroup, and the Title I Capacity Building Initiative as they work together to provide an integrated support system for school districts and participating private schools. The office of the Ombudsman provides technical assistance and guidance and addresses complaints. The PNP Workgroup, composed of LEAs and PNPs, provides valuable input from the field to assist TEA in designing procedures. The Title I Capacity Building Initiative creates resources to help LEAs provide equitable services for PNPs. This presentation will be presented from three perspectives: PNP Ombudsman; Director, Private School Services, and regional project coordinator of the Title I Capacity Building Initiative. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss this important topic.
